A class for end users designed to provide familiarity with the basic features
and functions of Knowledge Prospector. Attendees will become proficient in
basic reporting concepts and will be able to author Analyses which can be shared
with other users.
Knowledge Prospector 201 - Advanced Training
An advanced class for end users designed to provide familiarity with advanced
features and functions of Knowledge Prospector. Attendees will become
proficient in using exception reporting, coloring and sorting rules.
Knowledge Server 201 - Implementation Concept Training
An advanced class for developers who wish to modify or create solutions to
provide access to saved Analyses.
OLAP 101 - Creating Cubes with Microsoft Analysis Services
Learn how to design, build, and manage multidimensional data cubes from
your data warehouse using Microsoft Analysis Manager. Topics covered include:
- Introduction to Analysis Services and basic cube concepts
- Definition & Creation of Dimensions, Hierarchies, Levels, Members,
Measures, Aggregates, & Virtual Cubes
- Cube Processing Methods & Strategies
Prerequisite: Familiarity with RDBMS administration and Data Warehousing
concepts.
