Cubularity is located in San Luis Obispo, on California's central coast, half way between Silicon Valley and the Greater Los Angeles area. It is rich in experience and understanding of the OLAP market place by virtue of its proven record and unique position in that arena. Cubularity's goal is to leverage its employee's experience (more than 10 years developing and supporting OLAP and Data Warehousing applications in vertical markets) with the tremendous functionality provided by MS SQL Server's OLAP/Analysis Server technology.

Cubularity's mission is to develop decision support tools that facilitate more objective, effective and efficient decision-making. To do this, Cubularity has coined the term Information Mining as the process to combine several different business approaches and IT technologies. Information mining encapsulates the processes of recording historical data (decisions and results), providing access to those data, providing analytical capability and providing the capability to forecast decision alternatives using the results of the analyses.

Cubularity's first product was Knowledge Prospector, a product for all industry segments that provides access, querying, navigation, browsing, analysis and reporting from OLAP cubes.

The Cubularity product line was further expanded with the introduction of Knowledge Server, providing Web Access to saved Analyses authored with Knowledge Prospector.  Together, these products became the first members of the Knowledge Platform.  A solution platform designed to provide OLAP Business Intelligence solutions to every member of an organization - in the headquarters or in the field,  for basic reporting or sophisticated ad hoc analysis, for personal discovery or collaborative sharing.

Future versions and products will continue to leverage the Microsoft Analysis Services technology for more sophisticated information discovery and planning functionality.
